Bible Study

Sundays

First Baptist, Huntsville, is your place for Bible study. We have Sunday morning Bible Study which meets at 9:15 am on Sunday morning. We have many other classes which meet Sunday nights, Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights which we call Foundations for Life classes. Please join us for any of these classes ... they are always open and available for joining. On Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night, we offer childcare and programming for all ages.

Sundays 9:15-10:10 A.M. The study of the Bible is the central focus of our Sunday School Ministry. Each Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m., groups of preschoolers, children, students, and adults meet to study the scriptures, to experience Christian fellowship, and to explore paths of Christian service. In this context, we do more than learn about the Bible. Our study is grounded in the strong belief that God's eternal truths as recorded in scripture can dynamically interact with the persistent needs and dreams that are a part of each person's life. We believe that the Bible can inform our thoughts, challenge our attitudes, and inspire us to action! First Baptist, Huntsville, is your place for Bible study. Please join us on this coming Sunday morning. We have age appropriate classes for preschoolers, children, and students. We also have a variety of adult class which might meet your needs. Age-Graded Classes and Small Groups meet on Sundays (9:15 - 10:10 A.M.)

Preschool Ministry Classes

Preschool Sunday Morning Bible Study is a time for children to participate in age-appropriate activities and experiences which will help them to build beginning knowledge of God, the Bible and the world around them. Biblical concepts are shared through teacher interaction, prepared activities and learning centers. Teachers guide preschoolers in experiences using the Bible, Bible thoughts, songs, and conversation.

The most common question that parents have is "Which class will my child be in?"

Babies and Toddlers are placed in classes according to their development rather than their birthday. This is done in order to best minister to each child as an individual. As the child grows throughout the year, a move to the next class will be made, based on the development of the child and the space available.

Two's through Kindergarten observe the church-wide annual Promotion Day in August of each year. Each child is assigned to a class according to his birthday, with the age of the child on September 1 of the current school year determining the class to which he is assigned.
Visitors are invited to come to the Welcome Centers at church entrances for help in finding a loving room for your child.
