Graduate Weekend 2018

We declare May 19-20 as the official Graduate Recognition Weekend! 
We are having a fun dinner on Saturday night before recognizing you at church on Sunday morning.  

Here are the details:

Graduate Family Dinner Saturday, May 19
6:00-9:00 PM – First Baptist Church Gathering Place and Student Center A night filled with fun, laughter, and memories for your immediate family.  RSVP needed.The dinner is free for the Graduate and Parents. The cost is $5.00 per sibling and $10.00 per grandparent. A graduate group picture in cap & gowns will be made in front of the Sanctuary Saturday at 5:45 PM. To sign up for the Graduate Family Dinner, log in to your Mosaic account and register on Mosaic.

Graduate Recognition Sunday

Sunday, May 20

9:15 AM – Sunday School
In Sunday School, we recognize and have a special gift to our graduates.

10:30 AM – Worship in Sanctuary
Wear your caps & gowns and enjoy the congregation celebrating your achievement. 

Celebration Tables

Celebration Tables have come to be a feature of Graduate Weekend embraced by the entire congregation.A Celebration Table is 36”x18” in size, covered with a white table cloth, and will be located outside the Sanctuary. You as a family have the ability to decorate the table as you wish to “tell the story of your graduate” with memorabilia (pictures, clothing, artwork, etc.) from throughout the years. Electricity will not be available for displays. The area will be open on Friday  and Saturday throughout the day (except for 2:00-4:00 PM on Saturday because of a wedding) for parents to decorate the tables.  All decorations must be completed by Saturday at 5:00 PM. You will be able to collect the materials on Sunday between 12:00-1:00 PM.** These tables are not be to “over the top” attempting to highlight your child above the other students.

  4. Other pictures of you and your FBC friends through the years.


Writing with Wisdom Essay Contest
