A Gift of Worship
A Huntsville Christmas Tradition
The Living Christmas Tree is a choral and orchestral presentation of Christmas music presented by First Baptist Church of Huntsville, Alabama since 1984. It’s a spectacle of sight and sound including thousands of lights that brings a 39-foot Christmas tree to life.
After prayerful consideration, we have decided that the 2026 Living Christmas Tree will not take place as we continue through our Sanctuary renovation.
This beloved tradition, however, is not going away! The Living Christmas Tree will return in 2027!
In its place this year, we are looking forward to a special Christmas celebration on Sunday, December 20, which will mark our first Sunday worshiping together in our newly renovated Sanctuary. We look forward to celebrating this significant milestone and the joy of Christmas together as a church family.
More details about the December 20 Christmas service will be shared as plans are finalized. Thank you for your continued prayers, patience, and support throughout this season of renovation. We look forward to gathering again in our Sanctuary—and to welcoming the Living Christmas Tree back in 2027!
