Living Christmas Tree 2008
What Is The Living Christmas Tree?
The Living Christmas Tree is a choral presentation presented by The Living Christmas Tree Choir & Orchestra. The choral works are different each year and consist of many different varieties of church Christmas music. Click on the links below for information about every aspect of The Living Christmas Tree. You may reserve tickets via our online order
form or you can call the ticket information line at (256) 428-9422.

Where Is The Living Christmas Tree?
The Living Christmas Tree is presented in our church sanctuary at 600 Governors Drive (Map).
Please enter the church parking lot from Governors Drive. There will be parking attendants to direct you upon your arrival.
Is Handicapped Parking Available?
Yes. Please notify the parking attendant when you enter the parking lot from Governors Drive if you need handicapped parking.
Please call the Ticket Office (428-9422) to discuss other needs you might have, including the use of a wheelchair.
Yes. Since younger children sometimes have difficulty sitting through an entire presentation, professional childcare is offered for children through age 4, free of charge.
Also, there will be a special shorter presentation on Sunday afternoon that is especially suited for younger children & their families.
We realize that young children may not enjoy a full length presentation of The Living Christmas Tree, so the Sunday afternoon performance has been designed especially for them. The program is much shorter, incorporating the selections that will most likely be enjoyed by children and eliminating the traditional narration. The atmosphere is very casual where keeping the kids quiet is definitely not required.
Doors will open one hour before each presentation for ticket holders and seating is first come, first serve. Tickets will be honored until 15 minutes prior to each presentation, at which time seating will be open to all.
Why Is It Cold In The Sanctuary?
To offset some of the heat generated by the 13,000 lights used on the tree, the Sanctuary is made cooler than normal during the presentations. Please dress warmly!
We ask that you refrain from using flash photography during the presentation. A camera flash is very distracting to those around you and also to the performers.
What Is The Easiest Way To Get Out Of The Parking Lot?
When leaving the parking lot after the presentation, please make only right turns onto Governors Drive and St. Clair Avenue. This will speed up the exit process for you and those behind you.
Where Can I Get More Information?
For more information, please contact the ticket office by phone at (256) 428-9422, or by e-mail at lct@fbchsv.org.
