State Side Missions

First Baptist Church has many state side mission activities. Mission Projects allowing people to reach out to others within the state of Alabama as well as anywhere within the United States. Perry County - Sowing Seeds of Hope

The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship has committed 20 years to state side missions in some of the countries poorest counties. First Baptist has joined this effort in Perry County Alabama. An annual week-long trip of men, women, children, and some whole families volunteer to help make life a little better in Alabama. Improving churches and homes is the main focus of the mission work. Eastern Arkansas Seeds of Hope

The RA's and GA's have accepted a project of fixing up our bus suitable for education and recreation needs for people in Eastern Arkansas near Helena. First Baptist is donating our bus and making it ready for missions and ministry in Arkansas. Contact Jane Hull or any of the RA and GA leaders for more information.

Alaskan Mission

Plans are being made for a future mission work in Alaska. Watch for more information as this site develops.
