It's New - It's Exciting - It's High Tech
It's Basic Bible Study on Sunday Mornings
for our In-Home Members

The Airborne Sunday School came out of a need to bring a Sunday School class and lesson to adults who cannot attend Bible study at our facilities on Sunday mornings due to their physical limitations or care-giving of a loved one. Under the direction of Kennie Worlund - Director and Teacher, and Len Worlund - Music and Assistant Director, individuals dial from their telephone at 9:35 each Sunday morning to this unique Sunday School Department to be linked with other members in a Sunday School Conference-Call Class. During the 20-25 minutes of class time, a roll call is given to discover who has called. Prayer concerns are shared, a hymn is sung, and a Sunday School lesson with a life challenge for the week is given - just like a regular adult Sunday School Class.

In a nutshell: Every Sunday (9:35 - 10:00 am) dial an 800 number and when prompted enter the passcode. Hold and wait for the Airborne S.S. Director to answer and when the roll is being called answer with your name.

Following the class, everyone is encouraged to worship with us on TV-Channel 19 at 10:30 a.m. Some members of our Airborne Sunday School Department are residents of Somerby Assisted Living. These residents gather in the card room for Sunday School and then remain together to worship with us on TV. This is a wonderful ministry of Sunday School and worship provided by FBC that goes beyond the walls to the homes and rooms of those who cannot attend.
