The Langley Class

The Langley Class was established by our pastor emeritus, Dr. Ralph Langley. This class in open to adults of all ages, both couples and single adults. The purpose of the Langley Class is to "nurture each one in the class toward Christlikeness and equip them for ministry in the church and missions in the world and local community in order to glorify God."

The Langley Class uses the Formations Bible Study Series produced by Smyth and Helwys Publishing, Inc. Both teacher-centered lecture and teacher-led discussion are used in the classroom.

Outside the class context, the Langley Class holds two or more class socials each year. Members of the class also participate in the Getting to Know You Dinners-a series of potluck dinners designed to meet new people in the church family.

The class also participates in a number of mission and ministry projects including: support for the New Covenant Home, meals for the Christian Women's Job Corps, support for the Rescue Mission, service as church ushers, support for World Changers, and support for Habitat for Humanity.
