How do I get to First Baptist Church?
We are located at 600 Governors Drive (map). As you approach the church building, you will see two main entrances off of Governors Drive into our church. The East entrance (the one closest to the mural of Jesus) is the most used entrance.

Which entrance to the church should I use?
The East entrance on Governors Drive (the one closest to the mural of Jesus) is the most used entrance. The entrance you choose may depend on whether or not you have preschool children (birth through Kindergarten)

If you have preschool children (birth through Kindergarten), you may want to drive to the front of the church and pull under the weather cover to let your family out. The nursery and the preschool rooms are closer to this entrance. Or you may park in the guest parking on your left and walk in. When you arrive on Sunday mornings, you will be greeted at the door and shown the nearby Welcome Center. The friendly people at the Welcome center will help you find Sunday School classes, the worship center, and other locations. If you wish, they will be glad to escort you anywhere in the building.

If you do not have young children, you may want to enter the East entrance on Governors Drive and take the driveway straight so the building is to your left. There is guest parking on your right as you are passing the building. You will see another weather cover entrance near our guest parking. Inside will be a Welcome Center with people to help you find Sunday School classes, the worship center and other locations. If you wish, they will be glad to escort you anywhere in the building

What should we wear, what do others wear to church on Sunday mornings?
Good questions. At First Baptist, you will find a variety of dress styles. There are many people who like to dress up and there are many who like to be more casual in their dress. You will see nice suits all the way to jeans. So we would encourage you to dress as you are used to in other churches or what ever makes you comfortable.
