Thirty students and adults of FBC will depart Wednesday July 15th from the Huntsville International Airport for a 12-day mission trip to Pecs, Hungary.   We will be ministering through work at the Gandhi School and relational ministry with the Roma (Gypsy) students that attend the school.  We will be constructing a music/theater room and other various painting, cleaning, and landscaping projects around the school

The Roma people are an unreached people group that has experienced generations of persecution.  Many have settled in the Eastern European countries like Hungary.  The Gandhi School in Pecs is a preparatory school for Roma teenagers to attend college and hopefully break cycles of injustice.

We know you our church will be praying for our mission trip.  Of the 273 hours on the trip, you have committed to pray in just about every single hour.  Our mission team goes with an incredible sense of support from our church.  Thank you for sending us!

We will be blogging during the Hungary Trip.

If you'd like to keep up with the youth use this link:

Scripture tells us that we should be "rooted and established in love" (Ephesians 3:14-21).  Through this 200th birthday of our church, we are grasping the width, height, length and depth of Christ's love for us and the world.

Welcome to Eggbeateryouth.org!

Students at FBC are both the church of today and the church of tomorrow. Our Student Ministry strives to create spaces for students to experience a relationship with Christ that is alive and growing.  Through weekly Bible studies and worship, small mentor-led discipleship groups, mission endeavors, youth choir, retreats, and many fun activities, students have the opportunity to develop as followers of Jesus Christ.  Students find a place of connection and acceptance through gathering and learning more about the kingdom of God.  Our ministry is led by many wonderful adults who love students and desire to walk with them through this major transition known as adolescence.
