It's about... Where you are, Where you are going...

Helping adults age 60+ find significance in their lives by Loving God, Serving Others, and Growing Disciples.

our Ministry to Experienced adults is a ministry to Builders, Explorers, Pillars, and the homebound & elderly.

Builders

Builders are not retired. It may be months away or may be years from now, but you are still BUILDING. You're building on your home, work, family, and in your life. You are in the prime of life, the peak of your career, adjusting to the empty nest, and perhaps enjoying being a grandparent as you BUILD and plan for retirement. First Baptist Church is here to help you as you face life's transitions.

Explorers

Explorers have just retired. It may have been only a few months or even several years ago, but you're EXPLORING this new stage in life, enjoying old hobbies and establishing new hobbies. It's a time for exploring life's new adventures and what's next - this is the time you've worked for. At First Baptist Church, we are here to help you face the different challenges life brings and then encourage you to trust God to respond to those challenges.

Pillars

Pillars have been retired for some time and are the fabric, the PILLAR of our community and our church. As a pillar, you continue to be useful, helpful, and an example for others to follow. These are the "Golden Years" of your life. At First Baptist Church, we recognize the face that you are rich with Life's Experiences and we are here to help face life's physical challenges and become a pillar for you to lean on in times of need.

Homebound & Elderly

At First Baptist Church, we recognize the fact that not all persons who are homebound are elderly. Many are caregivers to parents, spouses, or loved ones who themselves are homebound due to physical or mental limitations. Our ministry to the HOMEBOUND & ELDERLY is based on both short-term and long-term care. Our Airborne Sunday School Class, along with Sunday Morning Worship on Television, provides Bible Study and Worship each week. Our care team ministry to our Homebound & Elderly matches people who need care with people who care.
